May be Mid July before home internet.  Long story.  House will be great eventually.  Probably will need to resume work a lot sooner than I wished.  Voiceover audtions sometime in the near future?  Going to SC for Josh’s boot camp grad.  Hooah!

Much more when I can.  It may be sparse for a while

  • Well I made it down to East Point/ ATL.  I may not have home internet for a couple of weeks since more wiring needs to be done.  At Steve’s house.  Us and Michelle and Jojo going to some party things downtown.  Weather feels like global warming, looks nuclear winter. Car seems to be handling traffic ok   Home neighborhood so changed.  Haha  More on that later.  When I have home internet I’ll be able to post cell pix.  More when I can!

    Yup.  That’s how it’s going.

    I’ll be back online sometime.

    Dear Wil,

Rest up while you can! On June 19, Uranus turns retrograde, bringing his flair for the unusual to a planet near you. Until the ruler of rebellion returns to direct motion on November 20, you may notice an increase in personality transformations or oddball news reports; indeed, the conventional wisdom for the next few months is ‘Expect the unexpected.’ Now, those of you with well-worn PDAs and perfectly up-to-date planners might find that advice less than reassuring. But the key to success these days is to go with the flow. That mind of yours is brimming with untapped talents and innovative ideas, and Uranus is bound and determined to set them free!

Uranus established his reputation as our solar system’s renegade long ago. But this planet is very much a rebel with a cause, namely humanitarianism, creativity and breaking with tradition. During his retrograde journey, that energy — which typically plays out on a more collective scale — is focused inward. Is there a cause you want to get involved with? a pottery class you’ve had your eye on? a certain bohemian side of yourself that you haven’t seen in a while? Seize this chance to celebrate your individuality and move beyond the status quo.

Of course, a period known for erratic, unusual behavior might not be the best time to act on every brilliant idea. But these upcoming months are your golden opportunity to think outside the box in ways that the 9-to-5 world of convention doesn’t always allow. Experiment with new modes of _expression to find the one that suits you best (pens, food, clothes, music … no doubt you have ample tools all around you). By late November, you may find that you’re ready to share what you’ve learned with the world.

Here’s to making Uranus’s retrograde period the start of something much bigger!

For those of you into astrology-if you’re interested–in my chart if I remember correctly  Uranus and Pluto are both retrograde in my Mid Heaven House of Leo.

    Haha

The pathways to your inner self are clear — there are none of the usual traffic jams blocking your way. All your energy is streamlined and will encourage any self-reflection you do to uncover revealing insights. Find some quiet time to go over the recent events — what was the objective, what was the problem, where did the fault lie? You’ll find that the answers to these questions will come quickly, and your next steps will be obvious and easy.

Warm and sleepy today.  Hung out with Joe a bit.  Hadn’t seen him since his situation at the workplace.  He ships to boot camp the day I move.  He’ll be beginning Zero Week at Ft Jackson SC the same time Josh is graduating.

Taste of Tippecanoe in a little while. Joel and Levi and maybe others coming along for that. I guess tomorrow will be officially “Throw it in a box or the dumpster” Day.  I don’t care how long you prepare for these things it always bunches up exponentially towards the end.  Well the new place will have AC–this one doesn’t–and I gave my AC to Emily since I figure if she’s 6 month’s along and Lucy due in August–she needs it more that me now.

Yawn.   Hung out with Joel last night and some of his friends.  Bought his paintball gear.  Haha  Well I have said I need new hobbies to keep my mind occupied in the “new” house.  My first night alone will be sort of–I dunno.

    More soon!

    Dear Bill and Andrea–

I guess Bill is bringing the hot weather back with him—it had been 50′s/60′s here, but depending who you wish to believe–it could be heat index 100 Monday–maybe.  Or maybe not–it’s Indiana as they say–and if you don’t like the forecast–wait a few minutes–it’ll change.

Taste of Tippecanoe is a big food festival thing here, and due to construction they’ve moved it further uptown which puts me in the middle of it.  My last party here with friends.. for a small while.  Hobby Lobby already putting out Halloween and Christmas stuff–so maybe I’ll get a headstart down there.  haha

Another friend Joel–he and his roommates moving to bigger house on campus.  I stopped by to see how their packing was going.  They were outside on the sidewalk hitting a broken office chair with a bowling ball.  Definitely a Kodak moment when I drove up on it. Especially when I stood on the opposite side of Joel throwing  (duh)  and as the ball bounced to me I tried to stop with right foot as it plowed into my left shin/ankle.  It’s ok just looks stupid. Good times!  I don’t know if their ghost is moving with them–long story.  haha

My new tattoo now in scratchy/scabby phase. Or did I mention that one?  hahah

Trying to give a bunch of stuff away– alot of stuff may end up in trash but oh well.  Good stuff I set outside dumpster.  I’ve dumpster dived before so maybe someone will find some use for  a few things.

Car has been checked as fine.  Done bank stuff.

Steve……….is now head of the Dekalb County chapter of the Minutemen.           mmmmmm

Actually I thought I was going somewhere with all this but I don’t know.  Hahah

I’ve talked about Wilimas–remind me to discuss Wil Fest sometime.  haha

Yeah I wake up in a panic in the mornings about OMG I have so much to do to get ready for this move, then when I wake up later it’s like it’ll be ok, it’ll all work out the way it’s supposed to.  When packing I seem to be doing a retrospective of music that’s been important to me at different phases of my Lafayette sojourn.  The Treasure Planet Soundtrack, The Phantom of the Opera, Hannibal Soundtrack (yes there is some really beautiful music on this one, along with some Anthony Hopkins monologues as Lector. Hahah), The Wicked Soundtrack, and more recently the V for Vendetta Soundtrack.  Plus music from my distant past I’ve been reclaiming as part of my psyche/soul again.  Bowie, Cash, Cooper, NIN, classical, jazz, soul, industrial and etc.

Therein lie many books to be written.

Like what was lost and why are there things to be reclaimed.  But many of us have such stories don’t we?

    Yeah Bay-bee!!!!

I’d been debating this issue actually for the last several years.  At some point I realized if I was still debating it–it meant I really did want to do it.  But I’d been wishy washy because I’d never seen anything that  took hold of me.  I should dedicate it  to Andrew/wavelength since he first had the American McGee version of the Chesire Cat on his site for a while and I thought that might be it for my first.   This was part of a video game that came out in 2000, and apparently a movie is in production to be released in 2007. Maybe I should rent myself out for promotional advertising?  I should have a few more by then.  Haha  I was googling for more images–Matt (different Matt from coworker mentioned on here previously) the artist and I had discussed the Jabberwocky for the next, but I have yet to find any good images of the McGee version online as of yet.

Future projects might include Jabberwocky on left shoulder or upper back, the Mad Hatter on the other arm, and Alice with her bloody knife over my heart.  Works for me.  And the life I’ve had but that’s another story.

Coworker Joel had had “Follow Your Heart”  tattoed in Italian on his arm and had recommended Matt at New Breed near campus.  Matt said later when I came in with a copy of the image in my last blog it made his day, since he and another artist had been wanting to do American McGee figures. I need to really buff/tone up more to be a worthy canvas.    I told Matt I need more tank tops now.

So…I came in at 1 PM.  He worked on a stencil until about 2:30.  And the tattoing was from about 2:30 til 9:30 PM ish.  He commended me for sitting so still.  I said well if I squirm that might mess up his work…so I came prepared to sit.  Plus years of practice sitting all day and night at the pc screen.  Haha

The first needlings didn’t bother me, but yeah after about towards the end my aspirin had long worn off and it was starting to get to me.  But then he was done.  And took pictures for his portfolio. I told him we’ll have to make some more for his portfolio.  On this point ( no pun intended  haha) it sucks I’m moving  right now, but gives me a reason to come back maybe for the Feast of the Hunter’s Moon around early October.  And see Soldier Josh in North Texas too. haha  And Lucy who’ll be born then of Emily and Spencer.

Well I’ve joked that Christmas and Halloween start about now in the craft stores–especially after July Fourth. I should do a quick check of  Hobby Lobby and Michael’s this week just to keep the love going.  I guess if I move now I can get a head start on my All Hallow’s Festivations.  Haha  Never did put up my goth tree last years, but still all boxed up and good to go.

Why limit yourself? Today offers wonderful experiences for every one of your senses — including your sixth. Take full advantage of every opportunity and keep your eyes and ears wide open. Not only will you be handsomely rewarded, but you will discover a few new playful obsessions. The best way to find new stimulation is by experimenting, so step outside your comfort zone and investigate some intriguing new flavors, sights and sounds!

Thursday 5/25 midnight –   Midnight preview of X-Men.  Tried to meet up with Matt and his buds, but tickets for different theaters, so txtd prodigiously 45 minutes prior to movie’s start. Movie was tremendous fun.  Little/no sleep that night–open at 6:30 following morning.

Friday 5/26 –  Open at work at 6:30 AM.  Asked to close so new coworker Joel wouldn’t be alone.  Fun evening bonding and the like.  Haha  Close at 11 PM.

Saturday 5/27 — Swing shift  11 – 8.  Joe hands in Army Reserve Leave of Absence paperwork around 11ish AM.  Joe unemployed at 4ish.  After I get off at 8 I head to Joe and Alisha’s apt next to work.  Later head to Morgan and Adam’s farmhouse east of town, where Joe and I work up great sweat chopping up old chicken coop and building big bonfire in the Hooiser starry twilight.  Morgan shows me the “dungeon” in their basement I’m to be locked up in so I can’t move.  I go into psychic mode and giving my vibe impressions of the place–which didn’t thrill Morgan a whole lot.  People ask if am joking  since I make up so much, but I said no–my psychic mode was for real.  Toned it down some since she was getting upset abit with it.

Sunday 5/28  Worked 12 – 9.  Cowokers rendezvoused at Michael’s house.  Levi and I ordered a pizza.  Was introduced into the intricacies of Beer Pong.  Haha  Later a curious  group hike to a relatively…nearby…Taco Bell.

Monday Memorial Day  5/ 29  Worked  6:30 – 3:30.   Joel invites me and others over for burgers and hot dogs.  Hang out at Joel’s that night with Levi and Michael (my new gang!!  haha), and Joel’s roomies.  Play beanbag toss in the Mormon Center Parking lot til 2 AM.  Haha   Levi in  periodic negotiotation for two ladies of his acquaintance to come up, which alas happens not.  Rules of the beanbag game allege if 4 directly in hole of board–the losing side has to strip and run naked around building or where ever.  Other side only got 3 of 4 in at one time. I was ready to do it but Levi said he’d keep his treasures private.  Haha  (ok not his exact words, but you get the idea–haha)

Tuesday.  5/30  I was off.  I don’t remember anything.  Haha  Must have slept?  Levi arranging canoing expedition at Turkey Run State Park the next morning.  Cleaned apt at some point

Wednesday  5/31  I was ready and all suntan lotion lubed up by 9 am, but trip off due to others bailing out. I would have gone anyway, but Levi’s call since he was making the plans on it.  Will try to reschedule that or something similar.

Thursday 6/1    Worked 6:30 – 3:30.  Probably walked the trails at Prophetstown Park.  Have done that several times lately.  Gym

Friday 6/2.  Zero Day.  Only cried a little once.   Had “the guys” over after work.  Michael, Levi, Joel.  Drank beer and played lacross in the Baptist Church parking lot next me til midnight.  I seemed ok at tossing but not catching.  My car dented only once.

Saturday   6/3.   YWCA has their last strawberry festival around the corner from me.  Nice international mix of people having fun and food.  Why can’t the world be like Lafayette, Indiana?  Mayor got to shake my hand.  haha     Walked up hills in Happy Hollow Park and the prairie at Prophetstown Park.

Wil Fest was a success.  Maybe 25 different people over all at BW3 by the levee– bar/wing place..  Got hugged a lot by the lady folk–oh yeah.  Joel gets phone call from roomie about footsteps upstairs but no one else there–so roommate flees elsewhere and calls him to deal with it.

Joel comes back short time later.  I don’t remember if he heard more steps or not then.  Some things did seem moved around though.  He searched house but didn’t find anyone or anything.  When Wil Fest was breaking up–Levi and I went back with Joel to check out things.  We looked in windows, then edged into house.  And heard what seemed like 3 or 4 steps upstairs.  Ahem.   And as we were checking out downstairs first seemed like some other noises coincided when we were talking or moving around.   Hmmm  Finally headed upstairs with baseball bats and fake gun and thoroughly searched.

After a lot of watching inside and outside the house we finally decided to settle inside and tell ghost stories.  Haha
Levi left after a while.  I agreed to sleep over but we ended staying up to sunrise talking, so I left about 7:30 Sunday morning.

And I slept.   From from 7:30 to 11, then to 2:30 PM.  Then crashed again at 5PM and woke up again….

Monday June 5, 2006 – …..around 5 AM this morning.   Surprized Joel online before his going to work around 7 AM then crashed back until 11ish again.  Guess I needed it, eh?

We were going to tattoo place for me to price tattoo, but he had to close with Levi who would have been solo and big wigs big wigging in tomorrow, so I ended up there myself, and now have appointment Friday for my first skin creation.

Wednesday 7 or Thursday 8 maybe golfing with Levi and Joel.  Don’t think I’ve ever golfed other than putt putt.  haha

    Friday 9.    First tattoo.

Sunday 11–  Wil Fest Deux:  The Barbecue at Jenn’s.

Friday nexter June 16 2006 –Joe’s birthday.  Time for spanking and …mmm…hahah

Saturday 17th  —  The Taste of Tippicanoe that evening. Hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy it this year since last year I poisoned myself licking lumber chemicals off my fingers when I’d shoved broken frito chips into bottom of can of bean dip–and tongued them off.  Not a good thing.  Hoping to get many bros and bras (haha) (broetts?)to gather for the event.

Monday 19 – Bill flies up and we pack truck.

Tuesday 20 –  Sigh.  Leave town.  Arrive ATL sometime.  21st?

July August —  Settling in.  Putting up stuff.  Dealing with stuff.  Iced sweet tea with sprigs of mint nipped from the garden Martha Stewart helped me plant. Tarot readings on the big antique wooden dining room table under the crystal chandelier.  Thinking beautiful thoughts and writing them down on parchment with my goose quill pin and being paid oodles of dollahs.  Winning power ball and spending it all on tattoos and trips to Cuba for real cigars.  Helping aspiring artistic dancers break into the big time.

Sept–-?   Well, can’t give away everything can I?  Or there’d be no mystery to things.

Not that I’m obsessed or anything–but I wonder how long before V for Vendetta is out on DVD?  Bwaha

I’ve been doing a good bit better.  From mid April to mid May I felt like someone was sticking needles in a voodoo doll of me, but last two days have been good enough.  Worked out today and walked and ran in several parks.  Saw Poseidon this afternoon.  Ok enough.  Still remember the original campfest in the first movie. haha   An American Haunting was one of those docudrama things.   Overly fictionalized retelling of historical events.  Like beginning in present day with descendents in the house where it all happened–except there is no such place.  I was going to swing by the Bell plantation during one of my ATL road trips–but it is long gone.  haha  DaVinci Code was ok too.  Probably read the book and get the soundtrack CD.  The uproar is ridiculous other than making a lot of money for the usual suspects.

8 days left at work, not that I’m counting.  Not certain exact moving date yet.  Probably move around June 21 until I hear info requiring me to do otherwise.

Probably get my first tattoo–if I can find the place I’ve decided to go to.

    Joe actually  haha

Anyway, as a few of you know, I’ve been having uber aggravations with printer issues.  To cut to the chase I finally got the mofo to work after basically wasting 2 lovely off days off and on–on it.  Seems at the same point where it seemed to always stall it was supposed to have been giving me a prompt to connect the USB cable from the printer to the pc, but wasn’t. Something I did at some point must have shaken something lose and it finally gave me the prompt, but at least next time I know to try that if it comes up again on something else.

Two more weeks at work.   Move either later June or mid June–trying to get that one settled out.

Leg mostly better.  Pissing that all this time I was to be working out and other stuff and couldn’t do much of anything with all the strength and stamina sapped out of me.

So Bill Clinton says we need billions for a Marshall plan for Mexico?  And the goverment  says  millions for college students in Pakistan. And google and yahoo and others giving  private account info to the Chinese government to crack down on their designated dissidents/disagreers.

But politicians say it’s alright to cut tax credits for college students in this country, and eliminate all those frivolous band, PE, foreign language, music, arts and driver’s ed programs because—–we have to balance the budget.   And our soldiers overseas don’t even have real body armor and are banned from accepting any sent from home to them.  And the Byzantine idiocies of our healthcare/insurance/tax systems in this country.   But the car exec earned his 400 mil bonus all his fellow execs say.

    *heads to Fight Club*

Remind me to talk about movie An American Haunting. Good topic–wasted opportunity.  A little too much fiction being made out to supposedly be history.
