Thursday 5/25 midnight –   Midnight preview of X-Men.  Tried to meet up with Matt and his buds, but tickets for different theaters, so txtd prodigiously 45 minutes prior to movie’s start. Movie was tremendous fun.  Little/no sleep that night–open at 6:30 following morning.

Friday 5/26 –  Open at work at 6:30 AM.  Asked to close so new coworker Joel wouldn’t be alone.  Fun evening bonding and the like.  Haha  Close at 11 PM.

Saturday 5/27 — Swing shift  11 – 8.  Joe hands in Army Reserve Leave of Absence paperwork around 11ish AM.  Joe unemployed at 4ish.  After I get off at 8 I head to Joe and Alisha’s apt next to work.  Later head to Morgan and Adam’s farmhouse east of town, where Joe and I work up great sweat chopping up old chicken coop and building big bonfire in the Hooiser starry twilight.  Morgan shows me the “dungeon” in their basement I’m to be locked up in so I can’t move.  I go into psychic mode and giving my vibe impressions of the place–which didn’t thrill Morgan a whole lot.  People ask if am joking  since I make up so much, but I said no–my psychic mode was for real.  Toned it down some since she was getting upset abit with it.

Sunday 5/28  Worked 12 – 9.  Cowokers rendezvoused at Michael’s house.  Levi and I ordered a pizza.  Was introduced into the intricacies of Beer Pong.  Haha  Later a curious  group hike to a relatively…nearby…Taco Bell.

Monday Memorial Day  5/ 29  Worked  6:30 – 3:30.   Joel invites me and others over for burgers and hot dogs.  Hang out at Joel’s that night with Levi and Michael (my new gang!!  haha), and Joel’s roomies.  Play beanbag toss in the Mormon Center Parking lot til 2 AM.  Haha   Levi in  periodic negotiotation for two ladies of his acquaintance to come up, which alas happens not.  Rules of the beanbag game allege if 4 directly in hole of board–the losing side has to strip and run naked around building or where ever.  Other side only got 3 of 4 in at one time. I was ready to do it but Levi said he’d keep his treasures private.  Haha  (ok not his exact words, but you get the idea–haha)

Tuesday.  5/30  I was off.  I don’t remember anything.  Haha  Must have slept?  Levi arranging canoing expedition at Turkey Run State Park the next morning.  Cleaned apt at some point

Wednesday  5/31  I was ready and all suntan lotion lubed up by 9 am, but trip off due to others bailing out. I would have gone anyway, but Levi’s call since he was making the plans on it.  Will try to reschedule that or something similar.

Thursday 6/1    Worked 6:30 – 3:30.  Probably walked the trails at Prophetstown Park.  Have done that several times lately.  Gym

Friday 6/2.  Zero Day.  Only cried a little once.   Had “the guys” over after work.  Michael, Levi, Joel.  Drank beer and played lacross in the Baptist Church parking lot next me til midnight.  I seemed ok at tossing but not catching.  My car dented only once.

Saturday   6/3.   YWCA has their last strawberry festival around the corner from me.  Nice international mix of people having fun and food.  Why can’t the world be like Lafayette, Indiana?  Mayor got to shake my hand.  haha     Walked up hills in Happy Hollow Park and the prairie at Prophetstown Park.

Wil Fest was a success.  Maybe 25 different people over all at BW3 by the levee– bar/wing place..  Got hugged a lot by the lady folk–oh yeah.  Joel gets phone call from roomie about footsteps upstairs but no one else there–so roommate flees elsewhere and calls him to deal with it.

Joel comes back short time later.  I don’t remember if he heard more steps or not then.  Some things did seem moved around though.  He searched house but didn’t find anyone or anything.  When Wil Fest was breaking up–Levi and I went back with Joel to check out things.  We looked in windows, then edged into house.  And heard what seemed like 3 or 4 steps upstairs.  Ahem.   And as we were checking out downstairs first seemed like some other noises coincided when we were talking or moving around.   Hmmm  Finally headed upstairs with baseball bats and fake gun and thoroughly searched.

After a lot of watching inside and outside the house we finally decided to settle inside and tell ghost stories.  Haha
Levi left after a while.  I agreed to sleep over but we ended staying up to sunrise talking, so I left about 7:30 Sunday morning.

And I slept.   From from 7:30 to 11, then to 2:30 PM.  Then crashed again at 5PM and woke up again….

Monday June 5, 2006 – …..around 5 AM this morning.   Surprized Joel online before his going to work around 7 AM then crashed back until 11ish again.  Guess I needed it, eh?

We were going to tattoo place for me to price tattoo, but he had to close with Levi who would have been solo and big wigs big wigging in tomorrow, so I ended up there myself, and now have appointment Friday for my first skin creation.

    THE FUTURE.

    Maybe.  Haha.

Wednesday 7 or Thursday 8 maybe golfing with Levi and Joel.  Don’t think I’ve ever golfed other than putt putt.  haha

    Friday 9.    First tattoo.

Sunday 11–  Wil Fest Deux:  The Barbecue at Jenn’s.

Friday nexter June 16 2006 –Joe’s birthday.  Time for spanking and …mmm…hahah

Saturday 17th  —  The Taste of Tippicanoe that evening. Hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy it this year since last year I poisoned myself licking lumber chemicals off my fingers when I’d shoved broken frito chips into bottom of can of bean dip–and tongued them off.  Not a good thing.  Hoping to get many bros and bras (haha) (broetts?)to gather for the event.

Monday 19 – Bill flies up and we pack truck.

Tuesday 20 –  Sigh.  Leave town.  Arrive ATL sometime.  21st?

July August —  Settling in.  Putting up stuff.  Dealing with stuff.  Iced sweet tea with sprigs of mint nipped from the garden Martha Stewart helped me plant. Tarot readings on the big antique wooden dining room table under the crystal chandelier.  Thinking beautiful thoughts and writing them down on parchment with my goose quill pin and being paid oodles of dollahs.  Winning power ball and spending it all on tattoos and trips to Cuba for real cigars.  Helping aspiring artistic dancers break into the big time.

Sept–-?   Well, can’t give away everything can I?  Or there’d be no mystery to things.

  • Well, best of luck of course. If i said i envied you, i’d be lieing – you can have the 4.5 million ppl all to yourself. as for the tat…well, second childhood? have fun and get rested up, ur gonna need it! peace, Al

  • Enjoy the day, Wil.

  • I never had the first one.

  • Which I’ll go into on the next blog or sometime.  Wanted to be more humorous for now.

  • Chris made a mistake last night and it hurt.  but he is also a dear friend that I love and respect very much.  He has apologized to me and corrected his error so, I’m back in Al’s Kids.  I sincerely hope you will stay, return, or join as best fits.  this site was given as a gift from a loving friend and I was wrong to over react.  And a special thanks to Kev for helping Chris understand the problem.  love to all, Al

  • why cant someone come up with x-men horoscopes?

  • OK, let’s see how I can do with 8-finger typing– long story– you know, they’ve done studies where they cut out the sign names and dates from horoscopes and then asked people to pick out their “correct” one from the 12 choices, and 90% of people couldn’t get it right. I rest my case.

You never were too good with catching balls. Well… OK going to leave that one.

You never really answered the Q: Do you have to move back? Could you just sell the house? Is it a sense of obligation?

I’ll be sure to keep updated…

  • I am so getting one of those urinals when I get a house!

  • Moving back is another one of those “what if” things–just like when I debated moving up here in the first place.  Change of pace if nothing else for a while?  I still want a farm house with lots of land–and the sprawl rate here though noticeble is still much less than ATL’s.

  • When I look at the horror scopes in the paper they all seen applicable.  The yahoo ones seem to hit the mark a lot though.

  • I’m pretty sure I couldn’t pee with them watching me like that.

  • posting your schedule makes it easy for me to stalk you. haha

I’ve thought it’d be great to have at least a square mile of land, and live right in the middle of it. Mostly it’s because I’d like to go outside without feeling like a walmart greeter.

Still, the alure of city life, where there’s more stuff to do.

  • I have mixed emotions.  There are pros and cons to Lafayette and ATL–I guess it could all come under the “change of pace” reasoning.  And I can always change the pace again later too.  Where I live here is like separate wing from the house next to parking lot–so nobody really right up on me.  At home people I still know on the street and houses sort of crowded together relatively speaking–so I’ll have to be careful with the underage goth nudist parties every full moon..  hahah

  • Counting down —

I just love that pic of the shiny new urinals! And that wall —

    You’re just one crazy dude!

  • New tat is killer.  I’ll post pix soon.  Woke up with headache today–I think mainly I fell asleep with lights on and was probably squinting in my sleep again, and maybe the weather change too.

Tattooing didn’t hurt to begin with–though flesh got a little tender some hours later.  haha
