So lets see if I take double the recommended dosage of advil the pain goes away in my left leg…2 pills last precisely 4 hours then the throbbing –not the good kind  haha–starts up again.  So instead of the max of 6 pills per 24 hours it’s like–I dunno–12?    Hahaha  Side effects are supposed to be stomach bleeding but don’t know how you know that or the symptoms.  I think pulling a lot of heavy plant racks plus other factors has given me shin splints in that leg.

This story sums it up.  Apparently yesterday morning I was walking around the store doing the usual routine and I had a sock sticking out out of my hat, which  I was not informed of right away.  Haha  Funny story but yes it hurts to laugh–haha–ouch…hahah.

Standing isn’t too bad, sleeping or lying down varies, sitting is the most difficult at times.  I guess it’ll end when spring or my employment does, which is now slated for June 2nd.   I had planned to move June 14, but I think I’m going to push that back a week because if I don’t take breather–it won’t be a good thing in the long run.  I think a  couple of days at the dunes in Northern Indiana would be nice and relaxing even if by myself.

If this makes any sense moving for me will be a spiritual act as much as anything and I owe it to myself to be in the frame of mind and health for all the things you think and feel when you disassemble a life you’ve grown for almost 6 years and box the artifacts and their meanings away momentarily for transit into new patterns and associations and meanings.

I’ll try to write more frequently, but the last weeks I’ve tended to come home and crash out as much as anything.

    “God is in the rain.”

    You Were a Dog

You are an excellent companion and a loyal friend.
A good protector, you smell trouble before it arrives.

Figures.  Well one of my Nicknames is Wil Dawg.  Haha

Wtf????   What if they’re blue and gold which is what mine are?

You Are 44% Addicted to Myspace
Your Myspace addiction factor is: Moderate

You’re slowly building a very strong addiction to Myspace. Get out while you still can!

    You Are The Hanging Man

You represent the seeking of enlightenment and spiritual clarity.
You tend to confuse others, but your oddities seem deeply satisfying.
Self sacrifice is easy for you, especially if it makes you a better person in the end.
You are the type of person who is very in touch with your soul and inner spirit.

    Your fortune:

Right now is a good time for reflection and meditation.
You should stop resisting the problems in your life, and let yourself be vulnerable to them.
You may need to sacrifice something important to you to move ahead in your life.
Accept your destiny with courage, and learn to let go of what you think you need.

Hmmmm.  Actually that’s pretty right on for right now.

    Ok one more.

You Should Be a Science Fiction Writer

Your ideas are very strange, and people often wonder what planet you’re from.
And while you may have some problems being “normal,” you’ll have no problems writing sci-fi.
Whether it’s epic films, important novels, or vivid comics…
Your own little universe could leave an important mark on the world!

    Duh.   Haha

*Does double take on that pic*  Actually—put glasses on that dude and there’s a pic of me in high school that looks just like that–same pose and exact hair–cough–and everything.   Hmmmm.

Hmmmm  again.   Curious.  Now I’m going to have high school flashbacks now.

Josh aka Shibbykins in the Army now–or more accurately boot camp at Ft Jackson, Columbia, SC, and should graduate after I move back to Atlanta, so look forward to that.  The move being early middish June.

So far I’ve seen V for Vendetta four times and probably will do a fifth this week. Yeah it works for me on a number of levels.

Bought a few more books—haha–Ayn Rand, military things, Michael Chabon, Chuck Palatnuik (sp?) (Of Fight Club fame), etc.

Dreaming the usual weird shit of course. Haha

    Yawn.

In a gaggle of geese, you’re a swan. In a clutch of hens, you’re the head bird. In a flock of nightingales, you’ve got the sweetest and most powerful voice. Yep, you’re kind of a natural leader type. And right now, you’ve got just the right inspiration as to where to go and how to get there. This inspiration will turn you into a 100 percent bona fide top bird. So go ahead and crow until everybody listens.

Yup.  Everybody loves my bird!  They line up for hours just to pet it!.  Bwahaha

I’m not dead or have left xanga or anything.  Just merely sucked into springtime working at a chain garden center.

    Mea culpa.

Hopefully I can write a proper blog soon.

For the disbelievers who’ve been wanting proof.  Haha    Hoop loop on other ear too.  I’ll eventually get an industrial on upper left ear and eyebrow thing on right.  Then move downward.  Haha

Watching the Ten Commandments remake on TeeVee.  Moving along at quite the brisky brisk pace. And as always in the past: everyone has a British accent.

Oh–today the B Day.   Another 24th birthday.  Bwahaha.

Yes tonight for the first time in years sweet. sweet Indiana will be moved by evil Republicans from God’s time to Satan time!    Spring forward, fall back Y’all!  No wonder I’m moving.  Haha

Speaking of which–I gave a two month notice at work yesterday.  The cousins told me last week the house was ready for whenever I wanted to move in–so after some deliberation I decided on a few more paychecks; so I’ll work through Memorial day and the last day will be the following Friday in early June, and actually move somewhat later in June.

Bleh.  Like Atlanta…excuse me!  ATL  now, needs more of this, but just like even more 20-50 story mushrooms everywhere.

I’ve been sort of up and down emotionally on this but yeah what else is new?

I walked around the Purdue Horticulture Park today which was nice.  Daffodils here and there, a rugby match in the next field and a Rennfest joust practice in another.

Bought some more light reading:  The Count of Monte Cristo,  Hunchback of Notre Dame, Notes from the Underground, and Madame Bovary.  Haha

Going to see V for Vendetta again, this time with Matt.  Will be my third time.  Hahaha

Tried taking cell pic of Matt at work but yeah well.  Haha

I read too much online news.

“No the results are not in yet on global warming.   We need more studies so as not to harm jobs and hurt business.  Actually we just want to get ours now while we can and the future will take care of itself.  Christ and Armageddon are coming anyway so it really doesn’t matter, grandkids and all will be taken care of by the Rapture.”

    Spring forward–lose an hour.  Bleh.

    porch

Amazing what I can do with a cell phone that I could never do with my digital camera.  Haha

    Halloween lights over porch.  Haha

Oh randomness.   I was driving today which was April Fool’s Day, and a black cat ran out in front of me–crossed the road–stopped, then doubled back–stopped– then was about to run back in front of me again almost.

So what kind of luck does that mean for me?

March 22, 2006

  • Well I haven’t killed anybody or broken anything yet, but I have had to control the screaming a few times.

My Coca Cola mousepad from the Atlanta/museum days is a tatter of fragments still somewhat cojoined, but sort of like the car needle on empty–bascially dead but not quite out of gas yet.  How many metaphors did I just mangle?  Haha

I keep forgetting and like last night when I got back from the company spring kick off seminars and etc in ever so lovely and winter wonderlandish northern suburbian Indianapolis–I go to Barnes and Noodle and spend about a 100 on manga, and come home and it’s like  (**(($%^&*&&%#!  damn mousepad.   Hahah

And then this Xangaspace or Myxanga thang with the beta-upsy-daisy-dated profiles “friend-add?” stuff.  Ahem.  I won’t go there, topic wise.

Saw V for Vendetta.  Great movie.  Reached and touched me on many levels.  Probably see again tomorrow.  I’ve almost finished the original graphic novel by Alan Moore (Sin City, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and illustrator David Lloyd.

I probably shouldn’t have off days.  (haha)  I tend to get moody and brooding.  Valerie’s theme from the soundtrack of Vendetta is very  poignant.   And I’ve always liked the 1812 Overture, but now it has whole new meanings for me.

    Boom!

     Hahha

March 16, 2006

  • Off tomorrow.  Yay!   Snow maybe tonight or sometime and more next week.  Oh well.  Since my cell phone takes pix I can store online–means I may have pix of myself (cough) and my reality on here after all this time in the near future.  Vault power drink a good thing.  People in the break room say I need to be banned from it.  Haha  Bought more books.   Falling into the world of 19th century novels.  Damn that Moby Dick!  May do gym later.  Like having it to myself late at night.

    And Happy Green Day everyone!

    Got this from J Saturn.

    Love Makes A Marriage.

    01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

    02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

    03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

    04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

    05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

    06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

    07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

    08) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

    09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

    10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Re-post this if you believe LOVE makes a marriage.

I’m not feeling especially profound at the moment.  My main thought recently is that for all my sleeping and goofing off–that I don’t really relax or chill much–if that makes sense.  Weather up and down here but hey!  That’s Indiana. 70′s yesterday–snow on Green Day tomorrow.   40 mph winds today.  Do you know where your Leperchauns are?

Yawn.  My mind sorta blank at the moment. Haha  Is it the lunar eclipse or the Mercury retrograde?  Haha

March 9, 2006

  • So yeah had swing shift today and got off at 7 PM and have to be in tomorrow at  5:30 AM and we know what that means–not very able to sleep.   And even more so:   supposed to close Friday at 11PM and come back again Saturday morning at 6:30 AM.   Trying to get that changed.

Lovely snowfall a few days ago with nice fluffly flakes.  Right now thunderstorms and rain for the next few days, then maybe back to snow again next weekend.   Indiana they say.  Haha

I should be budgeting for my post Indiana dis-employment life in Atlanta whenever that occurs–but yeah also still buying my weakness–books baby!   Capote books, some contemporary writers,  manga.  I’m rebounding on Moby Dick–finally in the last 150 pages where we get down to whale hunting MD.  Will resume the Orchid Thief when I finally harpoon the white one.  (And we don’t mean my winter tan.)(Haha)

Storming and etc.  Guess I should try again for bed.  Just thought I’d say hi.

    Hi.

    Haha
