  • So yeah had swing shift today and got off at 7 PM and have to be in tomorrow at  5:30 AM and we know what that means–not very able to sleep.   And even more so:   supposed to close Friday at 11PM and come back again Saturday morning at 6:30 AM.   Trying to get that changed.

Lovely snowfall a few days ago with nice fluffly flakes.  Right now thunderstorms and rain for the next few days, then maybe back to snow again next weekend.   Indiana they say.  Haha

I should be budgeting for my post Indiana dis-employment life in Atlanta whenever that occurs–but yeah also still buying my weakness–books baby!   Capote books, some contemporary writers,  manga.  I’m rebounding on Moby Dick–finally in the last 150 pages where we get down to whale hunting MD.  Will resume the Orchid Thief when I finally harpoon the white one.  (And we don’t mean my winter tan.)(Haha)

Storming and etc.  Guess I should try again for bed.  Just thought I’d say hi.

    Hi.

    Haha

  • I’ve gotta pick something up by Capote. Yesterday I discovered one of my favorite books is actually part of a trilogy: Beggars in Spain, by Nancy Kress. Now reading Beggars and Choosers. Randian futurism mixed with genetic engineering, great story and great characters.

Books are my weakness, too; (un)fortunately, I’m only a minute away from Borders.

  • hell is indeed an idea first born on a bit of undigested apple dumpling.

    glad to read you’re well

  • ahhh………one of the disadvantages of retailing – been there, done that although it was centuries ago. Salaried management in manufacturing is even better – work 10-12 hours, get paid for 8 or not at all if it’s saturday or sunday. oh well. ur rain has arrived here in MI now! peace and luv, Al

  • I see you have the newly discover crustacean up for a profile pic!  Cool!

Your weather sounds like ours, I’m afraid.  Rain/thunderstorms all this week and they’re talking snow for next week.  Lovely

    Have a good today, Wil…

  • well, if you are gonna be broke, you may as well have good reading material to fall back one. i say. happy friday!

  • nice to read you again; it’s been…a day or so. haha. it’s raining hard as hell here; hailed a few hours ago. anyhow…i probably should check your site more often to see when you’re at work at when you get off (work, i mean ) so i can call you. that’d be nice, wouldn’t it? you’d finally be able to hear my latest grievances, and i’d have an audience So, I was thinking–I have so much knowledge that’s really going to waste; do you think it’d be worth it to post up some long winded thought pieces on my site? Do you think anyone would actually read them? I know you would–I can always depend on you
