January 3, 2011

  • Yes I remember in the beginning I’d post 3 or 4 times a day–albeit they were the length of tweets now. Then once daily. Weekly. Monthly. Have managed to avoid it being yearly. Haha Used to collect movie pictures and make picture stories.

Made a sojourn to Indiana for Christmas weekend. The snow they were expecting went south and graced Atlanta–including my yard I’m told–haha– But ground was still well covered from previous snow, and the roads were mostly clear. Cold enough though–had various long underwear or sweat pants on under clothes the whole time.

Unfortunately still have occasional cough. Basically ok if I don’t talk. People not the only thing in crowded Greyhound buses or terminals.

Lafayette mostly the same–still creeping sprawl though.

New Year’s Eve went to Wild Bill’s. (and the link thing not linking) Festive.

Now back to Holiday deconstruction and 2011 construction.

  • I have not done a thing to de holiday my place. I have my work cut out for me. No snow around here but some drizzle. Spent the NY Eve in Alameda with my girlfriends from high school. Bets new years in some time. I am still recovering. My liver thanks me. Happy New Year Wil!

  • good to have you make an appearance here. you bussed it to Indiana? why not drive that short distance? hope the cough is gone soon. peace, Al

  • Happy New Year’s, Wil!

  • You reference those early days, yet no mention of your passing the 10-year milestone? The Web itself had not even been around for 10 years at that point.

Those buses come to Denver, too, you know.

Got your messages on FB; sorry no reply yet. But thank you. Happy Year Before The End Because Of Course The Maya Knew!

  • I’m modest at being ten years old.

I checked once–I think one way to Denver was 36 hours. Major butt regroove. But I’m sure I’d see much of America. I think Greyhound has since dropped a lot of central USA lines so not certain the route. Some people are on the bus for days–from say like New England to LA. And if it’s warm weather–well–

It’s one of those Kerouac experiences–
