I guess I should update this once in a while. The Homer Giant above was painted onto the adjoining field with biodegradable paint. Pagans were unamused and did rain rituals to make it wash away. However, the Homer Giant is still there, and England now is having the worst floods in decades. Hmmmmmmmmmm?
We went to Chastain amphitheater last night for a B-52s concert. Concert was fun though very humid. They have first new album/cd in 15 years coming out next year, and performed from it.
Chastain is sort of wine and cheese type place–outdoor set up where people bring candles and wine and posture and not infrequently ignore or heckle (the unfortunate Garrison Keillor incident comes to mind) who ever is on stage. Last night the opening act was totally ignored and no one even thought to clap.
B-52s require dancing to–and–seems it was just me and Steve mainly. Haha However, people around us got to dancing followed by people in other parts of the amphitheater who saw us dancing, and left their seats and came over to join us. Haha Never had groupies before. haha
Have been on various day trips and the like over the weeks. State parks, lakes, historical sites.
And–less than 3 months to Halloween!
And now–on Sprockets– We dance!!

What’s that Homer’s got raised over his head in his hand? Is that some kind of ring. What’s he going to try to throw it on. Is he trying to popularize a new type of horse shoes? The other fellow seems to be holding quite still.
Those b52′s still dancing that mess around. Sounds like a great night to me. All cheesey, dancey and good.

everybody thought I was a NUT, but I proved their Lynard Skynnard Asses WRONG didn’t I !
don’t worry, i keep everything i write. i figure i’ll become famous posthumously. what’s the point of being famous now if it’ll sap me of being miserable and thereby my talent? haha
