    OK

Maybe I should update this thing?   Hahah  Snowy times are ahead Harry Potter.   Well maybe.  They keep predicting the white shit.  Hahah have had a few flurries.  Today was first of two off days.   Lets just say wrestling Christmas trees at work in the cold and wind can be rather tiresome.   I’ve stayed inside all day long and am not the slightest bit guilty about it.

Walk the Line is a superlative movie btw.   Go see it.  Or else.  Hahah

I think I’d see the movie again just for the audition scene–though the whole movie is almost beyond comment for me–my small smile of contentment probably sums it up best.

    *********

Tomorrow is the first anniversary of my brother being found dead–Dec 1st, 2004  Though we guestimate he died 2 months earlier that October.  In some ways this has sort of been  a limbo year for me, though in other ways alot has been accomplished.  I still have 5 days of vacation time to take, so better put in for some time in January.  No real plans for anything special.  Would be nice to get away somewhere other than here or Atlanta for a change.  I’ve been through my share of mood swings this past year, so right now I don’t really have anything to add I haven’t said before.  Bill and Andrea still working on the house I’ll be moving into at some point.  Kitchen rebuilding now

Fire last night did some damage to the Von’s stores near campus.  They hope to reopen soon. I buy a lot of books and other shit there.   And the (in)famous Harry’s Chocolate Shop (place has nothing to do with chocolate, but alot ot do with spirits–haha) supposedly all right.

And the Christmas tree vs Holiday tree debate hit work too.   All my life phrases like Christmas and holiday have been used together and interchangeably–so I guess Jerry F  needed another false crisis for a fund raiser.  So we had to take down anything that said holiday trees.

Now I crave chocolate.  Or something sweet.

    Hahaha.

  • Yay! I’m finally your first! Hehe…

Anyway…So, that Tree thing slightly offends me as it pretends to be in line with Celtic tree symbolism, but it isn’t. Maybe I’m just a bit too touchy?

You’ve gone through the year pretty fine I think–Though maybe it’s just because you’re mature. You’ve handled everything well.

I think I should see Walk the Line–As you say, it does look good.

And was the picture of the asteroid impacts really necessary…?

Anyway, I’ll call you this weekend. Have a good time ’til then.

  • I recently started listening to Johnny Cash recently.  I think I might agree with Trent Reznor, that Cash’s version of “Hurt” is the best.  It’s hard not to feel the raw emotion when listening to it.

  • What the hell are you still doing in Indiana?? The Christmas/Holiday thing IS very serious, when people are told they can NOT say “Merry Christmas” or “Christmas Tree”.

I didn’t know there were Von’s stores that far East? Here, in Arizona, they are called “Safeway”, in order not to offend anyone named Von.

  • Just checking in, since you haven’t replied to my last e-mail. I skimmed down the page and read your comments on the Beethoven’s Last Night album. We saw TSO in concert two weeks ago and it is, absolutely and without a doubt, THE MOST FRICKIN’ INCREDIBLE SHOW YOU WILL EVER SEE. So, um, yeah… Be good.

  • GLOMPAGE BUD! Long time no speak!

  • I’m an ash tree. It’s hard not to agree with any of those descriptions…they are written as a compliment and who doesn’t want to believe the best about themselves? Yet so few of us really deserve the self-praise we heap upon ourselves silently every day. Sorry…I’m probably a little down today (see why in my blog).

  • Shart?

    Hahahahah
