I guess this has been one of those whatever days where I haven’t really done anything I’d planned on doing but…whatever! Haha Tried to find a midnight showing of Walk the Line but there weren’t any. Then tried for Harry Potter but those were sold out. Camped out at Denny’s and ate breakfast stuff and read more in my book. Seth was working so I always get two syrups for my pancakes and lots of Coca Cola refills. Good Seth. Off today after working five. ”Live” cut trees came in yesterday. Already put up by time I got in but still netted and people at the tree farm had tagged the labels on the netting which was going to come off…so…tedious. Haha And the poinsettias–haha–we have new varieties with purple or orange leaves and glitter? Still trying to figure those out. I’m thinking maybe white originally and dyed? Glitter? Well they look cool but would have been good for Halloween.
My original plan for today had been to walk in some park then catch Cash movie then clean up apt. So far big zero. Was dreaming weird shit–some type of architecture art magazine from like 20 or 30 years in the future. Sort of like pictures in Harry Potter movies. Flat paper but with sounds and video effects and etc. Buildings new or proposed in NYC and DC. Crazy shit. One I was flying way over NYC over these Bladerunner-esque type buildings. Flew over one and a voice said “Look down into the net.” Huge tall tower had recessed staduim complex and ramps and platforms on the top. Another one was some futuristic art noveau-ish Crystal Palace proposed for along the Mall in DC. Then supposedly I was in some version of my eventual house in East Point. But larger with ramps and wings and large windows. Ramps seem to be big in this reality and all sorts of eco-friendly design work. And some other voice telling me I need to more be more directly involved or proactive in my social life? Wtf? Hahah And the people the dream told me to go out with are like in Atlanta and I’m still here.
When you have alot to do–do as me–go to sleep. Hahaha It’s not how long you’re awake but the quality of your awakeness. Hahah Bullshit to live by. Hahah Frankly haven’t had a real night’s sleep in weeks. Like offically go to bed with teeth brushed, take clothes off and turn lights out. Except with windy colder weather coming in all those tiny cracks in my turn of the century quarters here, probably have to start wearing clothes some. hahah I hate sleeping in clothes. Constricts my blood flow. haha And I like my blood to be free flowing–so to speak.
So—holiday hours next week, so also off Monday and Thursday. Fortunately Friday I merely work 8-5 so not too bad. Warm for a few days then cold and flurryish later in the week.
Harry Potter and the Secret Chamber or whatever it’s called on a few. Guess I’ll chill and watch that.
Bleh.

You probably needed slot day to regroup and recharge and all that good stuff…Holidays…who is ready??? Not me…and the dream you had~maybe it is your subconscious telling you to move to Atlanta…who knows only Mr. Winkle knows for sure
Sounds like you may have a virus there and I don’t mean influenza…why don’t you check into the freebe that my English friends are using. Sounds like a worm in the address book and you know they can be sneaky….good luck
When I discovered Norton was not working and I went to uninstall there were files in quarantine that I did not know were there…..nefarious plots!

hmmm….whatever u have, i have too! fell asleep several timees reading ur post today – no, it’s not ur writing either! gonna try and do Potter today with the kids – if I don’t fall asleep any more – lines were too long yesterday. read someone’s comment above bragging bout never having seen a Potter flick – talk about living a dull and drab existance! – lol.
As for the young ppl living with you, i think it’s just built into us after a certain age, you just feel possesive. Hope u enjoy your last mid-western holiday season. peace and luv, Al
The weather has been so wierd lately! It’s like +10 overnight these days, when it should normally be below freezing in the day! Something’s not right with this picture! But I love it! I can still take the bike to work, only wearing a light jacket.
Cold, are you? I fill up large pop bottles with really hot water, stick them in bed before I get there. Crawl in when they cool down a bit… keep a couple near your feet, and you’ll be toasty warm all night! And you don’t need to wear ANYTHING at all the whole night! Gotta love that!
