  • Maybe some day I’ll resume daily entries–somewhere. Crocuses mostly bloomed out. Daffodils still blooming. Pink quince, yellow forsythia, white Bradford pears, pink Beauty Bush, various colors of hyacinth, various pansies and dianthus, blooming. Dutch Iris, irises, Black Tulips, mums sprouting up. About 71f today. Sunny and windy. Clear sky and stars.

Neighbor and I worked in another neighbor’s yard to help out. I have had a rabbit that comes to visit since early February. It visits me and several houses. Runs to my yard when kids down the road pester it. I think it’s somebody’s pet that got loose. Two cats, a hawk and an owl also tracking it. Hmm

It likes to play games like run circles around me, and other people. And also will do this flippy twisty jump thing.

I wasn’t here much a year ago–so I’ve been enjoying watching things grow and bloom. Wind recently broke my blue gazing ball, so I now have a purple one.

I look forward to the time change. Winter darkness is a problem, and I will be happy with more light.

  • Oh, black tulips sound delightful.  And your hip hop friend, too.

  • I wish it was 71 here and turning green – that’s weeks away here still. kill the bunny, they eat my shrubs! peace, Al

  • Well it’s just the green tips of tulips and iris coming up now. Whether I have flowers or fat squirrels remains to be seen– I’ve been spraying repellent and dumping pepper–

  • Doesn’t sound like the normal rabbits I’m familiar with; probably is a former pet. I’m planning a vegetable garden and some flowers/shrubs around the house, but will have to figure out how to keep away the stray cats, dogs, rabbits, and Kenny.

  • Repellent and pepper seems to work on rabbits and dogs. I think pepper actually attracts the squirrels. Not certain what to say about Kenny.

  • The quality of your articles and contents is great.
