Jack Frost is coming to town. Weather hos don’t want to commit. The main model says 8 inches snow, and some ice. They tried to soft pedal with “most people will probably just get 4 or 5,” or “a few might get 7,” then add “but some places might get 8.” Then mumble quickly some might get 12 but nothing to see here, move along-
I said all summer we’d have an ice storm this year. Magnolia limbs did not grow any while I was watching. However this past fall had to help people with other things–and in the meantime the limbs seemed to have grown quite a bit around various wires and lines.
I do have a pruning saw with long handle, but a bolt popped out and was lost. Hopefully I can fix. Sunny but windy and in low 40s today. Need to eat something and go out and see what I can do.
So–currently–they prognosticate– heavy snow Sunday night at 2 AM, then ice all day Monday through Tuesday. Whee!
Stores were light yesterday–I’m sure they’re fun now.
Still have spring bulbs to plant-haha–

Well if you prefer it sunny and dry, there’s always Denver.
I don’t mind bad weather–I’m just concerned with icy limbs pulling my lines down.
we must have got at least 8″ here and it’s still snowing – lake effect snow warnings until 1am. can’t wait for spring! peace, Al
They’re forecasting much the same for us… without the ice, though. Just snow… through Tuesday. 7″-10″… or something.
